Born in 1944 in Osaka, Shoji oki (沖潤二) is a Japanese artist known for illustrations within the realm of underground SM art. Active from the 1970s, he contributed to key fetish magazines like SM Select and SM Fan, developing a distinct style marked by delicate linework, fantasy, and restraint. Though more discreet than some of his contemporaries, Oki’s work holds a unique place in Japan’s postwar subculture.
