Fuzoku Sōshi was a pioneering Japanese SM magazine published between 1953 and 1954. Though short-lived (17 issues), it made a lasting impact with its bold blend of stories, essays, and illustrations exploring bondage and unconventional sexualities.
As a key part of Fuzoku Sōshi‘s enduring legacy lies in its unforgettable cover art — all illustrated by the brilliant Ran Akiyoshi.
